Easter Dinner

Eddie's parents hosted Easter dinner at their house this evening. We had a great time visiting with our nephews, Cash (pictured above with Eddie) and Tristan and lots of other close friends and family.
Surprisingly, this picture of Meryl was taken BEFORE she found the chocolate-filled eggs downstairs.

Happy Easter!

Meryl and Jack were so excited to find Easter baskets on the dining room table this morning.

Easter Egg Hunt

Meryl and Jack had a great time at Eddie's work Easter egg hunt today. Jack loved every minute of his first pony ride and Easter egg hunt.

Skirt or Pants?

I had to take a picture of Meryl today after she dressed herself. She was a little confused as to why her "skirt" had a tail.

A Good Day for Ducks

It was a rainy day today, so we just stayed home. Jack had lots of fun listening to Meryl's mp3 player while she took her nap : ) Shh...don't tell!

Old Friends

This is one of Meryl's oldest and dearest friends, Connor. They've known each other since Meryl was a few months old and Connor was a few days old.

Debut

Meryl had her first performance in the Church Preschool Choir today. She did great. She even entertained the congregation by going right up to the microphone to sing! She was so excited to be able to sing to Uncle Chris and Aunt Julie.

Go Jack Go!

Jack still isn't walking on his own very much, but he loves to go fast on any riding toy he can find. Here's a picture of him riding a friend's tricycle at Heritage Park.

Haircut

Meryl got her second ever haircut today. She sat very still, thanks to the candy cane left over from Christmas.

28 cent Pet!

Eddie and I decided that Meryl was ready for her first pet...well, at least a 28 cent pet! So Meryl and I headed off to Walmart to pick out the perfect goldfish. Meryl picked a beautiful gold and white one and the man somehow actually caught the exact one she wanted out of a tank of hundreds of fish. Meryl was so excited! When asked what she wanted to name the fish, she immediately said, "Dorothy!" For those you who don't know, Dorothy is Elmo's goldfish on Sesame Street.
